John and Nat Komes have joined forces with renowned artist Simon Röhlen - known as KEF! on this one-of-a-kind bottling in a rare collectible 1.5L magnum format — only four bottles were made. The abstract art captures balance and harmony, similar to the flowing subtle complexities of a beautiful wine. Working closely with KEF! on this custom art piece, Nat recognized immediately it would create a stunning artwork for the Jon Nathaniel Cabernet Sauvignon Magnum.

Komes Estate
This wine is sourced from our Rutherford estate, located on the western slope of the Mayacamas Mountain Range in Napa Valley. The vineyard thrives in harmony with century-old oaks and towering redwoods, nestled next to the Brockhoff Ghost Winery, which dates back to 1885 and has been home to John and Carrie Komes since 1977.
The KEF! Collaboration
Each magnum is hand-painted and signed by Simon Röhlen, a German street artist known popularly as KEF! More decorative than traditional graffiti, KEF’s self-described abstract style is characterized by swirling lines and organic waves that enliven, energize and harmonize. The label features a striking abstract composition—delicate brushstrokes evocative of KEF!’s signature style, this work of art evokes the fluidity of fine wine cascading into a glass. Subtle textures hint at vineyard landscapes, while his delicate lines capture the play of light, reminiscent of sunlit vines at dusk.
